In United States tort law, Slip and Fall , is a claim or case based on a person slipping/tripping and falling caused by a dangerous condition that a negligent property owner allowed to exist. The property owner can argue two defenses: they were not negligent or it was the injured party’s fault. The latter is usually perceived as partly true which makes the Slip and Fall injuries worth less than injuries from other types of torts.
